Correctional Facilities Chairperson

Responsibilities of the Correctional Facilities Chairperson:

• Forms and chairs a corrections committee. 
• Coordinates correctional information with GSO. (General Service Office)   
• Maintains corrections volunteers list, and coordinates the pre-release program, (“Bridging the Gap”) 
•  Raises awareness within the county of the need for corrections correspondence. “Pen Pal Program.”  
•  Attends SENY Corrections Facilities Committee Chair’s meetings.
• Is familiar with the Correctional Facilities Workbook.
• Attends and reports to the monthly S.I.G.S. meetings.
